About La Contessa

Over thirty years ago, father-daughter team, Bob Couchman and Kara Moeller, decided to go into business together and open La Contessa. The decision proved to be a smart one; three weeks after opening, La Contessa expands and doubled the size of the store.
Three decades later, we continue to set ourselves apart from other women’s clothing stores in Tucson with our relationship-oriented service, honesty with our customers, and high-quality clothing from Canadian designers and Made-in-America designers, such as David Cline and J’enive – try finding that at other stores in the Old Pueblo! 
What has kept three generations of women returning to La Contessa is the care we take in helping women find styles and clothes to fit their personality and shape. We have a friendly sales staff and provide specialty services such as personal shoppers and alterations. And our clothes aren’t the only items staying up to trend: our store’s interior is also brand new since its remodel in July 2019. 
We offer a wide variety of quality women’s apparel and accessories. We carry dresses, both casual and formal, tops, jeans, wedding gowns, business attire and active wear. All from leading manufactures including Joseph Ribkoff, David Cline, Sympli, Tribal, and many others. We’re located at 2980 N. Swan Road in Plaza Palomino, our friendly associates can help any woman find her perfect look.
